This coin is only AGW .0482, so needless to say it's tiny. The price was great and I didn't have any gold Mexican pesos so I purchased this one, a 2 1/2 pesos coin, and a 5 pesos coin. The condition was nice and is a great addition to my small coin collection.
- Pros
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

These are a very cool and economical way to buy fractional amounts of gold. At $8-11/ea. over spot price, two of these blow away American Gold Eagle 1/10-ozt coins in terms of value. They are very well executed, especially considering these are the size of a hearing aid battery. They are especially fun if you have been able to afford one of the 50-peso Centenarios from about the same period; you will have the largest and the smallest circulation gold coins minted in modern times, and both from the Casa de Moneda. But be careful, you won't be able to stop at just one or two and at around $60-70/ea., you will start adding them to every order you place.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I think at this point getting a hold of any gold or other precious metals is a must before the economy falls into the deepest depression ever seen in history. The coin is in great condition, it has collectibility, and there is gold in this coin. The price is very reasonable. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This coin carries quite a bit higher premium than many other Mexican coins due to the small size and quantity of gold, but it is a fun coin due to its diminutive size. Makes the 2 1/2 peso coin look big - lol. As always, arrived from Apmex quickly and exactly as advertised.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Mint Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
