I have been purchasing a lot of proofs, at varying price points. This set looks much more expensive than it is. Top notch proofs. 1968 was basically the transition year from Special Mint Sets (SMS) to pure proof strikes from the San Francisco mint. Strongly recommended.

I don't own this year proof set and after purchasing this one, I will say I still don't own it. I'm very disappointed in this purchase. I've purchased several different years from different orders and was happy with them. I finally got around to checking this recent order of proofs. After looking at the proof, Its easy to tell that it's been opened and can easily see that the coins have been removed and replaced. APMEX check your products before sending out. Is there no quality control? Please inspect your products before sending them out.

not very happy with this product on the half dollar it look like it was open and it has a finger print on it take the shine off the half dollar only good thing it was low cost
