I stack American and Canadian Silver Dollars, but the French Hercules is a SUPERIOR coin in that it packs more punch for your buck. At .868 oz. Ag in each coin, it's a heavy-weight compared to Morgan or Peace Dollars, and it's at a great price. I just received 20 Hercules coins and every single one of them was a gorgeous BU. I'm packing them away for the time being, but they'll be gifts to the great-grandchildren.

This is a wonderful French coin of Hercules. It is silver so there was some tarnishing due to age. The coin is a clean design and reasonably priced at the time. I definitely get it again if available.

I have always been drawn to large silver coins. I was fortunate to purchase 3 of these. They aren't available all of the time. I have Mexican, Prussian, American, Canadian and now French silver. I finally got the chance to order 3 of these big beautiful French coins. 2 very nice 1974's that have a bronze toning and 1 1979 that is almost flawless. I am very happy with this purchase. I have been wanting this coin for a while, and as usual, Apmex hits a grand slam(or a 3 run homer anyway). I highly recommend this coin to everyone. Thank you Apmex

I have had this coin on my wish list for ever. Right time Right Buy. Same quality as a 1921 BU Morgen, only it carries 12.5% more Silver. This coins comes and goes, but sooner than later it will be harder to come buy. I plan on getting more.

Design of the coin was excellent but my coin came with some sticky marks on the reverse side. For a coin advertised as AU/BU, that shouldn’t be the case.
