This So-Called Dollar is called a Bryan Dollar and contains 823 grains of Silver, or 1.7 oz of Silver! This is a rare and unusual piece not often found in today's marketplace.

Very scarce 1896 Bryan Silver Dollar issued for the purpose of informing the public about William Jennings Bryan's run for the Presidency, and his promotion of FREE SILVER as his presidential platform. The lines of text are somewhat worn as this scarce piece was graded Extra Fine. It is a RARITY-5 in Hibler & Kappen book and a Schornstein-6.
