The increasing value of Silver caused the discontinued use of Silver in American coinage. These $10 rolls of 90% Silver are an excellent entry point to increase your Silver holdings!
Coin Highlights:
- Contains approximately 7.15 oz of actual silver weight.
- Composed of .900 (90%) fine silver.
- Each roll has a face value of $10 in U.S. quarters or half dollars, or two $5 dime rolls (our choice).
- Coins are tightly packaged in a sealed roll for secure storage.
- All coins are dated 1964 and earlier.
- No specific obverse and reverse design, as this product includes various denominations from pre-1965.
- Minted at the U.S. Mint.
- These coins were withdrawn from circulation when copper/nickel clad coins were introduced, making them a favored choice for silver stackers and collectors.
- Their 90% silver content made them a "rainy day" fund, preserved by the public during times of rising silver demand.

90% Silver Coins
90% Silver Coins comprises pre-1965 U.S. coins, which were standard in circulation before the U.S. Mint transitioned to copper/nickel clad compositions. These coins, with their historical significance and silver content, are a practical and economical choice for investors.
U.S. Mint
Since 1792, the U.S. Mint has been a pillar of American coinage, producing coins that are durable and valuable. 90% Silver coins reflect the Mint's commitment to quality and its historical role in U.S. currency production.
Historical Context
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins. They were kept by the public as a trusted form of savings due to their high silver content. Today, these coins are sought after for both their silver value and their place in U.S. monetary history.
Investment Opportunity
These rolls are a convenient way to add silver to any investment portfolio. With dates and denominations (rolls of quarters, half dollars, or two rolls of dimes) chosen based on stock, this product offers flexibility and value for silver investors.

Overall a decent roll, but there were a few frustrating coins within it. I got two standing liberties, but they were in worse condition than most of what I can find in a coin shop's junk silver bin. The rest of the quarters were okay, with a few in very poor condition. I am not disappointed. But, for this price, I must say it is more worth it to go to a coin shop, where you can find 90% junk silver (avg circulation) for same or maybe better value. You can also pick out dates and conditions you like. I will still be using APMEX for BU silver and non-numismatic value coins, just not these.
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
