90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

I was very pleased with this bag of Washingtons. There was a great mix of dates and mints. There were 14 from 30s, 34 from 40s, and 44 from 50s. The rest were 1960s, including many 1964s. There was a 1934-D, 1935-D, 1936-D, and 1939-D, with the grades ranging from AG to F. The grades overall ranged from AG to BU. I would definitely purchase again.
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Like the other $50 bags APMEX sells, these are a good deal. I received a mix of 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s with a lot of 64s. Most are in good condition for 60+ year old circulated coins. One of the 64s is high AU condition. Some of the 30s and 40s are worn, but not enough to obscure the dates. A nice addition to any junk silver collection.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this product, because I was afraid of getting culls. I got exactly 200 quarters and was very pleased with the date variety. I got several quarters from the 30's, 40's, 50's, and up to 1964. Most of the quarters I got were from the 50's and 60's, and I didn't get a single cull. The quarters from the 30's were pretty worn, but you can expect that with 80+ year old currency. Thanks Apmex.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand

Ordered a $50 face value bag of quarters. Received them quickly and immediately went through them. 200 quarters delivered, however one was a 1966 clad quarter. Called them and they quickly sent a silver one. Nice mix of dates from the 30's, 40's, 50's, & 60's. A few semi-key dates. Very happy and plan to buy again!
