Peace Silver Dollars
The Peace Dollar is highly sought after by collectors, as it experienced one of the briefest minting periods of any U.S. currency and was also the last Silver Dollar to be minted. This popular design was minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935 due to changes in legislation.
Anthony di Francisci's Peace Dollar was the result of a contest looking for a new dollar design. His unique rendition of Lady Liberty was based on the actual Statue of Liberty, resulting in a patriotic and familiar look. The eagle on the reverse clutches an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing peace and commemorating the peace seen after WWI.

first I received a 22 that had large amounts of wear on it. the reverse lettering was half worn. the feathers were smooth. so I sent it in for an exchange. no issues there. the one I got in exchange was just as bad if not worse. large scratches, a gouge, and worn lettering. feathers were slightly more prominent but still NOT a BU coin. coin snap said XF. I'm going to keep it instead of trying to exchange it because trying to exchange or get a refund is just more work for me to do. the face of the coin is nice and clean. I guess I just won't flip it over.
- Cons
- Unattractive Design
- Poor Condition
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I was second guessing myself because I didn’t read reviews before my purchase. After receiving my order I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance and quality of the coins. I anticipated some obvious wear but they were all in great condition. Thank you Apmex for your service.
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought a 20 coin tube of these. I had a mixture of 1922 & 1923 coins in the tube. Most of the coins were tarnished & had a lot of wear markings on them. Not what I expected from brilliant uncirculated coins.
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Most were XF-AU. A couple looked polished as well. Maybe 3 could be considered BU. My local LCS at the time I bought this charged $20 more and the difference was night and day. I guess I eased my curiosity about Apmex. Admittedly, I could have tried to contact support. Instead, I decided to keep them as a reminder that seeing coins before I buy them is far more attractive. I have no doubt that these coins will pay for themselves in time though.

I have ordered three of these. Two are clearly low end MS (as I expected,) one may even get a 63 on its best day, but one of the Peace Dollars I would almost bet is an AU. I won’t be able to confirm this for a couple of months, but I have had several coins graded before and that is my feeling. I’m pretty sure I see a touch of wear. I like APMEX and they have always sent as described. I’ve ordered Morgan’s and BU Washingtons before, this is the first time I have any complaint. Thus, I am still giving 4 stars and would still recommend to a friend.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

out of 100 BU peace dollars I got 56 1922 P... 33 1923P...5 1924P...3 1925P... 1 1922S ...And 2 1922 VAMS... there were a lot of bag marks on about 30 of them the 1924 and 25s were very light strikes. the 1 s mint was heavily marked. and 2 were AU. overall it was a good buy but with the price rise of 4-5 dollars apiece i will wait till the price reduces if it ever does till i buy again.

- Attractive Design

- Cons
