The anonymous Follis coinage is one of the more interesting series in Byzantine coinage. John I Tzimisces was the first Byzantine emperor to put Christ on coinage and continued for about 120 years with about 16 different types produced.

Cannot make anything out on either side of the coin. Looks like a petrified milk dud. Paid for two day shipping and this was to be a Christmas gift. Lost some faith in Apmex. Look at NGC VF-XF samples and this is nowhere close. This is worse than cull.
