A coin in excellent condition, and with a lot of history behind it!
I picked one of these up as it was on sale, and received a 1902-P in an old brown NGC holder, and I'm seriously impressed by how good the condition of both the coin and its holder are - the holder has no chips or cracks, while the coin's luster is really pleasing to look at. As with the other US gold denominations, these coins have bore witness to some of the USA's most defining moments, and every one that's around today is a survivor of the Great Depression of the 1930's. I think I'll have to buy a few more of these when I get the chance!
