MY FAVORITE COIN

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I purchased these when the spot price hit $100 and the price for the role was $750 so that comes out to roughly a little over $100 per Troy ounce of silver. All were 1962, some edges were a little tarnished.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Mint Condition
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Cons
  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Stunning

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

The coins absolutely glow! These proofs are impeccable BUT, as many other buyers noticed, there doesn’t seem to be any variation in the year or mint mark. If you buy one tube of these you will get all one year and mint. the roll I got was just 1960 P’s. I’m happy with what I received but I’m glad the other reviews warned me this would be the case. the coins are incredible but I wish they weren’t sold as “Random year/mint” when you just get a tube of 20 identical, beautiful, proofs.

  • Pros
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Mint Condition
  • Recognized Brand
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

90% Silver Franklin Halves $10 20-Coin Roll (Proof) Review

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I definitely wanted some Franklin proofs because of their beauty and and because almost each year of the coins existence provides something to hunt for. The variations among the years for Franklin halves could give a collector a lot to do. That being said, I was only disappointed in receiving all 1962 coins. I would have enjoyed seeing multiple years, even if it was just a few, but every one of them was 1962. A few of the coins have spot issues, but overall their appearance is lovely. The main complaint, again, is that every single coin was from 1962. I would have preferred more variation on the dates to experience a broader spectrum of the coin.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Mint Condition
  • Recognized Brand
  • Cons
  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Hard to Sell
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

90% SATISFIED

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I purchased (2) rolls of the Franklin Proofs. The first roll I thumbed through was perfect. (5) 1957's (1) 1960 (7) 1961 (7) 1962. The second roll were literally all (20) 1962.. I would have been 100% satisfied but I found 4 that had imperfections on the second roll, the biggest one being what looked to be a burn mark about 1 inch wide. The other three had small burn marks or yellow spots I could not gently rub off. And (1) coin I would bet is not a Proof at all. 35 of the 40 coins were exactly what I expected. The other 5 I would like to return.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Mint Condition
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
