Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on. - Specifications

Most coins in set were in good to fine condition. Dates all legible except a couple of key dates and the most important key date. Picture of key date on listing better than what was shipped. The few dates in question would grade at best About Good. For the money, expected the set to be consistent in quality (AC) and would expect to at least read the dates. My expectations for an Average Circulation "set" were not met vs. previous APMEX purchases.

- Recognized Brand

- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
