Pre-1965 35% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of Copper/Nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 35% Silver content as a rainy day fund they could fall back on. - Specifications

Definitely a "Must Have" set for the serious collectors. I'm only 8 nickels away from completing my Jefferson nickel collection, including all of the proof nickels that the newer Whitman Deluxe albums have made room for. This Capital Plastics set was kept as is and not removed to populate my war nickel slots. What we could use are non-pvc sleeves that would fit into this set and could be attached by simply unscrewing the page posts and adding the sleeve like an additional page. I've done that on my own and it worked great. Now, I can page through the album an admire this gorgeous set without having to go and find it in the safe.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Attractive Design
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

The picture shows a nice, attractive plastic CASE. And the description states it comes in a any variety of CASES. However, mine arrived NOT in a case but a plastic sleeve. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. If you buy this be prepared to make other arrangements to attractively display these nice coins.
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
