Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of Copper/Nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they could fall back on.

I agree with the customer who said 13 were 1963 and the rest common dates. yes the description should read xf-au. that customers order sounded very simular to mine. maybe this is apmex proceedure. they can do better. I am looking at thier walkers but i am a little gun shy now.
- Pros
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line

The coins look good, I would say most are in AU state, with a few in XF. I primarily purchased this so that my daughter and I could start filling in our Franklin half dollar book. I was extremely disappointed that every coin was a 1963-D. I would have much preferred to have at least a few mixed dates (like every other review listed here).
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I will definitely be purchasing more of these beauties in the future. I've got a roll of both these AUs as well as APMEX's Average Circulated Frankins. These AUs are absolutely stunning!
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Got the 20 coin roll of Benjamin Franklin halves. Most were in excellent condition and super shiny. One had a black stain on the back, I got mostly 1963s and 1962s, I believe one was 1957. Overall a great purchase, shipping and delivery was fast. Coins are a small enough denomination to sell/trade or barter with in case of hyperinflation.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Ordered the AU roll of Franklin halves. Was packed well and shipped quickly. The roll of 20 included 13 Franklin dates 61-63. The remaining 7 were a couple of 1948's, another 3 1950- 1954's, and a couple of 58 coins. ....Some dozen were AU but maybe 6 others were probably XF at best.....Maybe 2 were BU on the plus side though. Would go with the Walker halves in the future---cheaper price and better selection of dates....Description should probably read XF-AU roll of Franklins.
- Pros
- Easy to Sell
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
