Received 28 different dates and or mint marks. Docked 1 star because 6 coins were about good. A couple were very good. Pleased with the buy.

Pretty decent quality and mix of dates/mints

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Overall, the roll that I got was pretty good. There were 3-4 borderline slicks, and another 2-3 that were obviously cleaned. But the rest were actually in G to VG condition (in my estimation). The most common dates were 1905, 1911, and 1915, but there was also an 1898 and 1899. Most common mint was no mark (P), followed by D, S, and O. There were maybe 6 O mint marks in total.

I Was Cautious; Then, Very Pleased!

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Nearly all Barber Dimes that aren't in slabs, or a dealers display, seem to be heavily worn - or just plain culled... So, I was cautious when ordering a "better dates" roll of 50 from APMEX... They showed up fast, and - too say the least - I was very impressed! All had full rims on their obverse and reverse, and some even had traces of a few letters on LIBERTY. I even received a couple late 1800's dates! Thanks, APMEX - you came through for this silver stacker again!!

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Nice product

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I got a nice mix of coins - about half with unique dates/mints and I was pleased to see a good number of D, S, and even one O. Many coins were 1912-1916, with a few earlier years (one pre-1900). Overall, a nice mix and most in very nice condition, including one full Liberty. One coin was in bad shape, battered and actually bent, but all others were definitely as advertised. Arrived to me in 2 business days. I am very pleased!

I can't complain, the dimes are as I expected, plus I had 51 in my roll. That was a nice surprise. A pretty good mix of dates, had a few "O" mint, "S" and some "D"s.
