This Series 1914 $50 Federal Reserve Note is from the Chicago district. This note has a portrait of President Ulysses S. Grant on the front with a representation of Panama between two ships on the back.
Currency Highlights:- The first of the Federal Reserve Notes issued for general circulation.
- Sealed in an inert Mylar currency holder by PMG.
- Graded Very Fine-20 by PMG.
- Face: Last printed in 1928 and bears the portrait of President Ulysses S. Grant.
- Back: An allegorical figure of Panama between a merchant ship and a battle ship.
