Very scarce note from when Texas was an Independent Republic. Magnificent vignettes on a neat note issued by the Republic of Texas. Printed in 1839, just 3 years after the Battle at the Alamo.Currency Highlights:
- Very scarce $100 note issued by the Republic of Texas dated January 15, 1839.
- Graded as VG.
- "Cut Cancelled" and "Split".
- Superb allegorical vignettes of Liberty, a steam locomotive, and a sailboat.
