Silver Tetradrachm from the reign of Azes I, king of Bactria, present day Afghanistan, from 57 BC to 35 BC. He was a political descendant of Alexander the Great, who brought Greek culture to the East.
Coin Highlights:- One of the earliest known bilingual minted coins.
- Coin legends show Greek letters and Kharosthi script.
- Coin is in AU (Almost Uncirculated) condition, with incredible details and luster.
- Obverse: Azes on horseback right, holding a whip.
- Reverse: Pallas standing right, holding a shield, sceptre and torque.
