This Bronze As was issued during the reign of Vespasian, Emperor of Rome from 69-79 AD. He is perhaps most well known for his construction works, such as the Flavian Amphitheatre, or as we call it today, the Roman Colosseum.
Coin Highlights:- Bronze As from the Roman Empire. Struck around 71 AD. Approximately 9.8 grams.
- Struck at the Lugdunum Mint during the reign of Vespasian (69-79 AD).
- Tenth of the Twelve Caesars.
- This coin authenticated and certified by NGC as being in Ch F (Choice Fine) condition.
- Obverse: Laureate head facing right.
- Reverse: Eagle standing on a globe. S C. lettering (short for Senatus Consultum), indicating it was authorized by the Senate.
