    Attractive 1775 Pennsylvania 4 Shillings note with lightly toned original paper and strong eye appeal, featuring the iconic Cape Henlopen lighthouse reverse. With less than 100 known examples, this note is certified Very Fine 25 by PMG.
    Currency Highlights:
    • Scarce colonial note from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
    • Housed in an archival quality currency sleeve by PMG.
    • This note is certified by PMG as Very Fine 25.
    • The denomination is 4 shillings and it is dated March 25, 1775.
    • Printed in black to deter counterfeiting.
    • Face: Compact layout with denomination, ornate borders, and a central vignette.
    • Back: Finely engraved view of the Cape Henlopen lighthouse with surrounding landscape detail. The warning on the back "TO COUNTERFEIT IS DEATH!" is fairly ominous.
