This coin is in excellent condition for the age. When considering the history of this coin, it is astounding to note that Washington was still in office when this coin was struck! Additionally, Alexander Hamilton had left office as the Secretary of the Treasury- which is who the Director of the Mint reports to- just 1 year prior.
