1863 Bank of the State of South Carolina 15 Cents (SC-45), Fine. Scarce Civil War-era fractional note issued during the Confederacy, featuring period design and strong collectible appeal.
Currency Highlights:- Very interesting note in Fine condition.
- Notes will be housed in archival quality currency sleeves.
- Face: Nice central vignette of the symbol of South Carolina, a palmetto tree. Blue overprinting of the numerals "15" and the words "FIFTEEN CENTS."
- Back: There is red imprinting on the back of "FIFTEEN ISSUED UNDER ACT FEB., 1863."
