The history of Franz Joseph, the Hapsburgs, and the tragedy of WW1, all are brought to mind, seeing and holding this beautiful 1887 coin. As usual, APMEX delivered a coin whose condition far exceeded that promised. Presented as "Average Circulation", this 131 year-old coin, with no trace of wear and plenty of mint luster, easily grades a MS61 or 62.
