90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as "junk silver" or "scrap silver," offer an excellent entry point for silver investments. These coins were pulled from circulation following the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and rising demand for Silver. Many were saved by the public for their Silver content as a form of a "rainy day" savings fund.Mercury Dime Design
The Mercury Dime, one of the most beloved U.S. Mint coin designs, showcases a youthful Lady Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap, symbolizing liberty and freedom, with the wings representing freedom of thought. On the reverse, a fasces is depicted alongside an olive branch, symbolizing the United States' preparedness for war and its desire for peace. This powerful imagery has made the Mercury Dime a favorite among coin collectors and history enthusiasts. - Specifications

Ordered 4 tubes. Got a total of 4 wrong dates (1944 1942x2 and 1945) many slicks (definitely below Average Circ), and 3 coins where the date were unreadable (ie, dateless). Wrote to APMEX to request replacement early on in going through my purchase, and was told that i could return everything. Unfortunately was only interested in returning the problem coins, so did not return the whole order.
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Shale: We're sorry there was a mix up in your roll and that you weren't satisfied with our customer service. We'd like a second chance to reach out to you and see if there is a solution that will work for both parties. Thanks for your honest feedback.

Heavlly worn coins. Very little verity in dates and many date were hard to read if you could read them at all. Again, this is junk silver and not for collectors. I didn't find any of the dates I needed. I took a chance because I thought I'd at least find a couple of dates I needed for my book.
- Pros
- Recognized Brand
- Attractive Design
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Hal: We understand that you weren't happy with the coins. Since these are listed as average circulation and with them being used as currency so long ago some wear and tear is to be expected. Our customer service department will reach out to you in an effort to make sure you're satisfied. Know we're always available at 800-375-9006 for any comments or questions.

I am trying to complete my Mercury dime collection. So this was helpful. I recieved at least one coin from every year except 1921. Although, I had 5 coins that I could not see the last number on the date. Not totally dissapointed, as my intention is to complete the set. So this served my purpose.
- Pros
- Recognized Brand
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I received two rolls and went through them right away. While they are good dates, I also received 14 dimes that I could not read the last number of the date. To me, that makes it dateless. I also received a 1937 in the rolls. When 15% of your order is wrong (more if you count the mint marks that could not be read), I'd have to conclude that I'm not particularly satisfied. Guess I'll save my money for a better grade of coins.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Cons
- Hard to Sell
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this product because I expect "average circulation" to mean full dates at least! When I read "no dateless coins", I also expect to be able to read the entire date, not three out of four numbers of the date! Out of the two rolls, I received a 1937. I also received 14 dates that could not be read in full. Many others, I could not make out if they had a mint mark or not. All in all, not a great deal.
