The 1921 Peace Dollar is considered the most beautiful Peace Dollar by many collectors. Striking the coins in high relief was hard on the dies, so in 1922 the mint switched to a much lower relief.
Coin Highlights:- Contains .77344 oz. of Silver.
- Multiples of 20 are packaged in protective plastic tubes. All other coins will be in protective packaging.
- Obverse: Depicts Lady Liberty, modeled after Teresa de Francisci, wearing a radiating crown while her hair blows in the breeze.
- Reverse: Features a Bald Eagle resting on an olive branch with the word “Peace” underneath the eagle.
- This issue features no mint mark. The Philadelphia Mint did not produce a mint mark.

Product received was exactly as expected. I had been looking for this coin for a while and had to purchase it when I saw availability. Arrived in great condition and was able to finally check off the 1921 high relief Peace. As always APMEX has done it again!

Apmex is a fine, reliable place to purchase bullion coins. Nothing but good experiences buying silver eagles and common-date, circulated Morgans. But numismatic purchases? Not so much. This 1921 Peace dollar, advertised at XF, was mis-graded, and cleaned. The best it would have netted is a VF-35 details grade, worth less than half what I paid for it here.
