Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

Exactly as advertised, quick shipping, great service!

Bought for the silver content but really like the Quarter's design. Used to work in a grocery store with a pop machine that people put these quarters in. I sorted them out and since I have retired, I just get them from Apmex! Great company. Very satisfied with products and service they provide!

great roll

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

most were 50s-60s, with earliest a 1936. one was nearly completely slicked over with barely legible date--the one con. however, when the roll contains 5 AU's and 2 UNC (one a gem, 1957) then I know I got a really nice one. be back soon.

Decent coins and quality

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Most of the quarters are in decent shape. I'm more of a silver collector than a coin collector, so I have no idea of the grades. There were easily more 1964's than any other date, but if I'm in it for the silver, that's not a big deal.

  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Great buy.

Received my roll today. 24 different dates and mint marks. Received coins from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. Grade between about good to extra fine. The real kicker is the 1937 S IN FINE CONDITION. Thanks Apmex.

Nice Range of Dates - No Problem Coins

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

22 different date/mint mark combinations. 2 coins in the 30's, 4 in the 40's, 11 in the 50's, with the remainder in the 60's. Nice roll with no problem coins - the earliest dates were more worn but still a solid VG. The latest dates were high end AU. Earliest coin was 1936, the oldest, not surprisingly, was 1964. I was pleased to see that all the coins were clean and problem free, and they were all not 1964! Dates were as follows: 1936, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1945-D, 1946-D, 1950-D x2, 1951-D, 1952-D, 1954-S, 1955, 1956, 1957 x2, 1959, 1959-D, 1960, 1960-D x2, 1962, 1962-D x2, 1963-D, 1964 x3, and 1964-D x13.

  • Pros
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
