Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.
How many quarters are in a roll? A roll of U.S. quarters contains 40 quarters, for a value of $10. While there are 40 coins in a roll of quarters, other coin values are rolled in different amounts.

A good variety of dates and mint marks from 1938-1964. Out of the 40 coins, 16 were duplicates of others in the roll. I did get one dateless standing liberty. Not sure how that snuck in there. Would have preferred a Washington. Coins were quite dirty but condition was better than expected. Many coins were in VG-8 or F-12 condition. Would buy again.
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Bought for the silver content but really like the Quarter's design. Used to work in a grocery store with a pop machine that people put these quarters in. I sorted them out and since I have retired, I just get them from Apmex! Great company. Very satisfied with products and service they provide!
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

most were 50s-60s, with earliest a 1936. one was nearly completely slicked over with barely legible date--the one con. however, when the roll contains 5 AU's and 2 UNC (one a gem, 1957) then I know I got a really nice one. be back soon.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
