This Continental Note is from the issue of September 26, 1778. The denomination is 30 Spanish Milled Dollars, and was printed by Hall and Sellers of Philadelphia. That firm was formerly known as Benjamin Franklin and Hall.
Note Highlights:- Paper contains mica flakes which were mixed into the paper to deter counterfeiting, which is visible on this note.
- Housed in an archival quality currency sleeve.
- Note measures 72.5 mm x 93 mm and grades Very Fine.
- Face: Features the emblem of a wreath on a marble monument with the motto "Si recte facies", meaning "If you act rightly".
- Back: Displays three willow leaves.
- Signed by Joseph Walter and one unidentified signer.
