Washington Quarters Series
The Washington Quarter, first introduced in 1932, became one of the longest-running series in U.S. coinage. The coin was intended to be a one-year-only commemorative celebrating the 200th anniversary of George Washington's birth, but in 1934 U.S. Lawmakers voted to continue to produce it.90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as "junk silver" or "scrap silver," offer a simple way to start your silver investments. These Pre-1965 silver quarters were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins, making them a staple for both collectors and silver investors alike. The public saved these coins as a "rainy day" fund for their silver content, especially as silver demand rose over time. The U.S. Mint
The U.S. Mint is renowned for producing a wide range of historically significant and highly collectible coins. These Washington Quarters represent the lasting craftsmanship of the U.S. Mint and its contributions to American coinage. - Specifications

I was drawn to this product because it was considered a bank-wrapped roll...something that's part of our American history. (I'm into historical things and events). I actually opened this roll, and was surprised to find that there was one quarter apparently missing...there were only 39 total quarters. I did at one time initiate a collateral loan on this item, once I had opened it and placed the quarters neatly into a Whitman collector placement book. When I initiated the loan, one of the loan administrators said that he had never seen such brilliant quarters. He also asked me what the grade was on them, to which I replied that they were not (yet) graded. A neat idea, but overshadowed by the fact that I had one missing.

I bought many bank rolls of various coins from APMEX. This is only the third roll I’ve been disappointed with. Very loose wrapping and the coins that came out the reads were all different tones. the end coins were dirty as I would expect but the middle coin reeds were all different toned, as if they came from different roles. It may be just a coincidence, 1962 – D coins were in XF condition few AU.
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Picked up one of these rolls and found it contained all 1963D. The ends were quite dirty and the other 18 were very nice AU or BU quality. There is some dirt of some kind on the rims of most of the quarters that also appears to be the same kind of dirt on the two end coins. It looks like most of it will come off with some acetone though. Altogether I'm happy with the roll, but keep in mind that this isn't for everyone.
- Pros
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I received a roll of 1964 D quarters. They are beautiful but I was hoping for some diversity at least a few different years and mint marks as I am a collector not an investor.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Mint Condition
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Un-opened since 1964. Awesome... Coins were bright and shiny, even the ones on the end of the roll. These were stored well. All were 1964 date. I was going to leave the roll unopened but after a few days I couldn't resist. They now reside in a Coinsafe tube. Could not be more pleased.
- Pros
- Recognized Brand
- Easy to Sell
- Attractive Design

- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line

Unlike the OBW dimes APMEX sent me that were great, fully crimped rolls sealed in plastic, the roll of quarters was of lower quality. First and foremost the roll had been tampered with as if someone had opened it in the past. The paper on the roll was not fully crimped. The OBW dimes are sold out which is too bad because those were authentic unsearched bank rolls. These on the other hand are not worth paying the premium.
- Pros
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
