My grandfather carried one of these in his back pocket as his lucky dollar I remember always seeing it on the nightstand next to his wallet and Pocket watch now I have my own to carry on that tradition. It's a great feeling. Thanks! Apmex!

Not a spectacular finish - dull, flat, new surface aspect. I bought eighty, and only five had dings, rim damage, or grunge and bag marks. These things make nice gifts for anyone (kids) who've never seen a large metal dollar that wasn't silver. Yes, the markup is 100%, but a 40+ year old oddity is probably worth it. Buying them with inflated dollars versus their value is probably a tossup; It's something for others to quibble over when you're gone. Remember, Deliberately sowing dissension has it's own deviant rewards. Anyway - these Ike Dollars are nice, uncirculated, and nearly all pristine. And heavy!
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
