Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on. - Specifications

Coins were in decent condition but only 42 coins out of 400 were under 1963, only 10 coins in the 50's, 32 coins 60, 61 and 62. If your purchase is for silver investment only, not a bad purchase.
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Hard to Sell
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is the first product I have been disappointed in... The quarters were represented as BU, but about 10% are not any better than VF. Also, I expected higher mintage coins (but at least some variation). All 400 quarters are 1964!
- Cons
- Generic Brand
- No Variation All 1964
- Hard to Sell
- Poor Condition
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

While I mostly save gold bullion, I wanted some silver to round out my holding and for use for small purchases in the event of a currency crisis or collapse. After considerable deliberation, I decided to pay the slight premium for BU coins. Coins arrived within a week even though I paid by check sent only by first class mail. Coins are in rolls which I didn't know in advance but am happy about. All coins that I could see are 1964's. I will continue to do business with APMEX .
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Easy to Sell
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
