Ordered two of these XF/AU coins. One was a beautiful AU 1953 that I'm very pleased with. The other was an XF 1952 that had a dull look. No complaints though, would order again!

Really liked these coins from apmex. Purchased 10 and will purchase more. Apmex should tell purchasers that they will not get a low mintage 1954 . All in all a real nice deAl on the Hildagos
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Not the prettiest coin, but it's certainly got an authentic and rugged feel to it. As far as old circulating currency, these are a sure bet. They're not quite as white as the picture, but I've found Mexican coins in general tone different than others.
- Pros
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This was purchased as part of my Mexico silver collection. At the present there are still a good number of AU/BU coins in all silver denominations available and Apmex offered some nice examples. My opinion as an amateur collector is that the Mexico silver is a good value because the quality and availability of these coins will not always be available at these prices. There are both .720 and .900 Silver Coins in Almost Uncirculated to Brilliant uncirculated (don't know of any Proofs that were minted but there may be some in the Onza coins. But my non expert opinion is that now is the time to purchase AU-BU Pesos through Onza coins while they are available. Beautiful Historical coins. Apmex has some of these coins and has the best shipping and delivery I know of. Thanks , I do recommend Apmex as a supplier of these coins when they have them.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

These have many factors going for them. One, is they're one of rare gov minted currency coins that actually state the percentage of silver in them and are from a nation that is known for being filthy rich in silver deposits and lastly is minted from THE oldest and well established mint in the Americas at Mexico City. And personally, I like the fact that it has Hidalgo on it as he was responsible for leading the independence from Spain and Rome's strangle hold and slavery upon the people there. This also gave the USA a buffer zone from the same entities in which to thrive
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I was very disappointed in the condition but at the same time understand that the coins are over sixty years old and were once in circulation.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
