The coin has a sharp burr on the bottom where it looks like they welded a rod to it for cleaning and didn't take the rememinits off.

In my original review, I harped about the scratch on the reverse of the 1915 coin I got. I pulled out my magnifying glass (hey, I'm getting old) and realized that the coin was an XF, very little wear, and I'm not about to give it back to Apmex. All the details were very sharp, very little wear. If I could I would pull my initial diatribe about that scratch. I think if my wife lets me I will get another. Ya never know.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- I Over Reacted
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
