90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.
The U.S. Mint

The Barber coins I received in my roll were half AG, two borderline cull and maybe two that were VG or close the reset were what was advertised as Good. All in all if you want a roll of Barber halves then you might get lucky like some on here but I think they are running out of Good grade halves and mixing them in from other lots and coins they have.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Cons
- Unattractive Design
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Nice assortment of dates. Overall, the Good or better is accurate. I did have some that would grade VG, with one F. Nice for older halves to add a little variety in your bullion collection.
