Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on. - Specifications

I wasn't expecting F or VF, but I was expecting 20 VG, and maybe got 5 that were barely VG. The others were G. I would have been better off getting the G or better tube instead of the VG+. Disappointing. note that I have been very happy with all my other purchases with APMEX.
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

So I decided to buy these more expensive ones and you know what the good and better ones for a $120 less We're way better and had so many dates this role I only got 08 and 07, So pretty disappointed but next time the good and better has fine condition coins and 1800s dates I'm a collector not a stacker... the coins wher as advertised in the cheaper roll I found a 200.00 1904S

I was willing to pay the premium price for VG or better condition coins as stated in the advertisement - with quoted from the listing: Product Details This nice, 20-coin roll of Barber half-dollars has dates ranging from 1892 to 1915 and will grade at least Very Good or Better. These are great coins with full rims and partial "Liberty" in the head band. Coins are packaged in a tightly sealed roll or a plastic tube. All coins are dated from 1892-1915 with full rims on the obverse and reverse with a partial "Liberty" showing in the head band.. Four of the coins have full rims, but only two coins have even a barely legible partial headband let alone a partial Liberty in said headband. Very disappointed.

I got 2 rolls of these barber halves. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. Of 40 coins, I got 22 different date/mint combinations. Oldest was an 1899. Highlights are a couple of 11-D in pretty ok shape, a 13-D, 14-s, 15-S,D. Nothing super rare but still fun!
