Most of my silver 5 pesos coins are in Fine condition and show some degree of wear. This does not at all affect the integrity of this beautiful vintage Mexican coin. I also love the fact that it is stamped with weight and purity. A definite must for collectors and investors alike. As always, prompt shipping and good packaging by APMEX.

Very limited years of mintage. Historical value due to the collapse of the Peso that followed shortly after mintage. Almost unbelievable that high quality silver .720 coins were available for a reasonable price. What an opportunity to start a historical collection of Pre-collapse Silver peso coins. This single year of mintage in 1953 will become a key coin for silver Mexico collections. Great investment.
