90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.
The U.S. Mint
The U.S. Mint has been the producer of some of the most iconic coins in U.S. history. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar series is another testament to the Mint’s craftsmanship, offering a timeless piece of American numismatic heritage. - Specifications

This was an ok..ish purchase. Out of curiosity bought a roll of XF thinking probably thinking they'll be mostly VF. Looking over them half of the coins probably could be high VF (think VF 35) and the other half were low XF. These were common dates 41, 42, 43, and 44. Only one 1946.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

These were not XF. All the dates were visible, but lady liberty's body was bushed off on all coins except one. I would have rated them avg. circulation. Can't see her face on any of there coins except the one. However, I bought them below the avg. circulation cost. Nothing Special.
- Pros
- Attractive Design

- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line

17 Philadelphia Minted Coins. 2 - 1943 D AND 1 1941 D NO San Fran. Mint Marks. All from the 40's except one 1936. . I tried these XF rolls 3 times now. I won't consider the XF Walkers again. Poor Value. 33% of the roll was very good + / fine The Denver Mintage worse than the Philadelphias'.
- Pros
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I purchased 2 rolls (40 coins) and I was very happy with the condition of the coins (XF). I received a few coins from the early 30's, and a few from the late 30's and the remainder were from 1940-1946. Some of the coins appeared to me to be XF+. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. In addition I received 2 day free shipping from APMEX. Thanks guys!!! I'll be back for more!
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
