These coins feature bold design elements, as one of the most famous American coin designs, with minimal wear only on the high points of the design. Some may even have some hidden luster present.

Product Highlights:
  • Approximately 7.15 oz of 90% Silver.
  • Coins are packaged in a tightly sealed roll or plastic tube.
  • Obverse: Adolph A. Weinman’s classic design of Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, carrying branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing both civil and military glory.
  • Reverse: An eagle perched atop a rock, his wings spread in preparation for flight with "United States of America" above and the face value below.
  • All coins are dated 1916-1947.

These rolls are a great way to add Silver to any investment portfolio. Add several $10 face value rolls of 90% Silver Walking Liberty Halves to your cart today!

Years will be of our choosing determined by stock on hand.

Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

A lot of the same dates, a few under XF condition, and a few seemed polished. However, at least 15 of the coins were in XF condition.. Overall i'm happy with purchase.

Cons

First ever APMEX product I've been disappointed by

At quite a premium over the "Average Circulated" Walkers, I was hoping for quality which matched APMEX's "XF" description. Sadly, these coins seriously let me down. I'd grade out the lot MUCH closer to Fine, and a couple of the coins were only VG, FAR from the XF promised and paid for. In several dozen orders with APMEX, this is the only one that did not meet expectations.

  • Poor Condition

Polished Clean and judged XF..???

Disappointed with XF roll of 20.. 18 of the 20 were "Polished Clean" with soda/cleaner and Only Sellable as 'Junk' grade.. Most were 1942, a few were '41 or '43 and Clean and Gleaming Bright.. This was my 17th order with APMEX, and I expected non-Cleaned Coins that were actual grade XF.. Too Bad, Eh..? I'm a bit too busy to Send 'Em Back today, but feeling very Strange about this Lesson.. Sorry, just my bad experience.. ?????

Cons

  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Hard to Sell

I don't know what the grading scales are, but when I purchased Peace dollar VG-XF about a month ago, and I was so happy with it... So when I saw the Walking Liberty XF,, I was thrilled and I couldn't wait for it....I was expecting the same quality I got from Peace Dollar......... but I when I saw the coins, I was slightly disappointed, and that that I could have just went for the average circulated ones.... They are still beautiful and it is my favorite coin out of all US coins. Meh...rather disappointing though...this will be my first order from APMEX that resulted in a slight disappointment... guess you can't be perfect....(sigh)

Pretty good.

I bought 1 roll. All of mine were 1942, 43, and 44... Very common dates and lots of same dates. But that is to be expected, i just wish at the high over spot price they would through in 1 or 2 from the 30's.. Condition was XF for the most part. A couple of mine would grade AU and a couple of them just fine.. But the best part to me is that coinbook values show them to be worth about $3 each more then i paid. So that part is great..

These were better than expected and a good mix of dates. Grading might of been a little weak, almost all of these rolls are a little weak but very nice coins

These coins did not meet my expectations

I have purchased coins from Apmex on multiple occasions with satisfactory results. Until my last purchase of twenty extra fine Walking Liberty Half Dollars. These coins were advertised as extra fine condition; upon inspection of the coins I found them at least one-two grade levels below extra fine condition; according to the Shelton scale. I am awaiting Apmex response and will grade their return policy according to how they handle the matter.
