    90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

    The U.S. Mint
The U.S. Mint has been the producer of some of the most iconic coins in U.S. history. The Mercury Dime series is another testament to the Mint’s craftsmanship, offering a timeless piece of American numismatic heritage.

Worth it, if you're starting a set

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I have put together two mostly complete circulated sets from "Junk" I have purchased over the years. All well circulated stuff that I had picked out the best ones to fill those. These were better than almost every other coin from those sets. I bought two rolls and got almost all the 40's some 30's and even a 29'. XF is an honest average grading.

Excellent Buy

Superb buy. Worth it to buy XF. most of these Dimes have never been circulated. majority are from the ‘40s but what do you expect to get a roll of uncirculated coins from the 20’s and 30’s? Be realistic. All and all a great buy.

Disappointed

I collect Mercs and out of the 50 coins I put 6 in my folder. All were P mint with 1 D, nothing earlier than 1940. I might try again…I don’t know

A Beautiful Assortment

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I almost sent away for an average circulation roll of the Mercury dimes, but opted for the XF roll instead, and I was not prepared for the excitement of sorting through 50 of these in the higher grades. I have a few rolls of these in the G-VF range, but it is a completely different ball game to go through a set of these in lustrous XF and AU, and how beautiful this coin is in sharpness and detail at XF. I expected a lot of 1942-1945 dates in the mix, but I was astonished as well that the roll covered 1928-1945, with a large number of Denver and San Francisco mints. Out of the 50, there were easily 14 of them that were in AU condition and they gleamed next to the others. This was an excellent value.

  • Pros
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Mint Condition
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Very Satisfied

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I bought 2 rolls of 50. In my judgement there were 4 coins in each roll that were sub-optimal to the XF grade. What compensated for that was that there were 6-8 coins in AU grade and at least 3 in each roll that would qualify as BU. I was surprised to find one Roosevelt dime (BU 1962) in a roll. Nevertheless, I'm completely satisfied and would more rolls of this product in XF condition. Overall, very good value for the money. All Mercs were dated from 1937 thru 1945; nice selection of mint marks. Thanks, APMEX!

Nice roll of dimes

Roll contained a few just fine coins but also contained a few that certainly looked AU. So I'm satisfied with what I got. Plan to buy again.
