I got an 1857, the details itself on the coin are at least a "good" grade, but the coin is darkened in color and looks dirty, not like the condition shown in the photo. For a coin this old, I am still happy with my purchase I just wish I got a cleaner looking one!
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Purchased one and received a 1856 (ha just kidding). It was 1858. For 162 years old I was thrilled about the condition. If this coin could tell you a story.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I sent away for six of the Flying Eagles, and was very satisfied and impressed with the coins I received, the way they were shipped to me (tightly secured and sealed), and the speed with which they arrived (in less than four days with a holiday included). Considering that they were random and average circulation, I still received all three readily available (1857, 1858 Small & 1858 Large), and at least two of them were quite sharp and leaning towards Fine condition. I expected a few with worn smooth features, but all six were legible, complete and well worth the cost.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I would love for this to be in better condition, but i have to admit to myself this is what i ordered. It is in G condition. That gets you thinking about a coin only minted for 2 years the history this coin must have seen. The cent coins were very popular during that time and the i received no doubt has been around. that is what is so interesting about them. Great way to have a sample of this short-lived minting.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
