1787 Fugio Cent. It is the variety with "UNITED STATES" at the sides of the circle. The obverse depicts a sundail with the words "FUGIO" and the legend "MIND YOUR BUSINESS" on it. That phrase was attributable to Benjamin Franklin and these Fugio coins are sometimes referred to as Franklin Cents. The reverse features 13 linked rings, representing the 13 new states, with the legend "WE ARE ONE." This coin grades Very Good to Fine details. Fugio cents are extremely popular coins with collectors. Nice smooth brown planchet. - Specifications
