Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

Got what I asked for..

Have always liked walking liberty halves and didn't want to spend a fortune on them. The roll is a good way to go to just have some nice walking liberties and some silver to boot. Mostly received 1940's but had some decent 1916-17's.Packaged well and shipped in a timely manner.

  • Pros
  • Easy to Sell

VERY NICE COINS!

I love the Walking Liberty Halves...these, in particular, are a nice lot of coins. A couple of slicks along with a couple of better than average...and you're left with an AVERAGED roll of AVERAGE CIRCULATED coins. Would buy again and would recommend the purchase.

Two rolls (40 coins) walking Liberty Halves

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

Received two 1918, one 35S, one 36S, one 39D, one 37P, one 33S, one 35P, one 20S, one 20P Partial date, five 42P, five 43P, and the rest a mixed bag of 1940's. Got one slick that requires some imagination - but beautiful all the same!! Condition of 95% of the coins (40 total) ranged from good to very good, and a couple very close to fine. Very happy with the buy!!

  • Attractive Design

Know what you're buying

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I purchased these mainly for the silver weight and because I like silver coins (but don't have the knowledge to collect). Had a mix of date but most were 1942/1943. I would say all where in pretty decent shape (dates visible, the design front and back visible with out great detail) except one coin that was so worn out it looks more like a blank silver round (no date visible at all, ridges worn out, almost 3/4 of the design on both sides is gone).

  • Pros
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Cons
  • Common (higher mintage)
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
