Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of Copper/Nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they could fall back on.

Happy with these coins! All dates are visible, and weigh in nicely. Most are newer dates. Going to purchase more "junk" silver from Apmex, in the near future. Thanks!
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I would say only 9 were average circulation. 11 were slicks with usually only the last 2 digits readable. 2 of the 11 were absolute junk not even a date. Thankfully 1 local pawnshop doesn't care about dates or details so we did a straight trade for those 2. I bought these mostly for novelty because I like the look.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Eighteen of the twenty were in very good condition. One was worse than cull, extremely worn and no date visible, one was covered front and back with some kind of black stain like it was burned or something. Overall, I'm satisfied as I have purchased cull and worse than cull which turned out like normal circulation coins.

Opened the roll of 20. Average circulation so not expecting perfect, so happy with 19 of them, they had dates and mints. One however was a slug, if not holding other ones would have missed the faint head outline on one side.
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good rolls of avg circulated. On average, each pack had 1-2 slicks, 10-12 avg wear, 2-4 nice, 1-2 30’s or very nice. Overall good condition for 80+ year old circulated coins.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I'm a fan of Walkers in general. So are a lot of other people, and finding a tube can be something of a treasury hunt. My latest tube was definitely sub-par, below AU and more like culls. For instance, several had nicked rims and one was coated in something that wasn't normal oxidation, more like hardened goo. Since these are in such poor condition to begin with, I may try cleaning that one a little bit, because I'm a stacker who still likes a pretty coin. I'm usually pleased by what I buy from Apmex, so this was a big disappointment.

so out of my roll of 20, 15 were from 1941-1947 with the majority being 1943 and 1945. One 1936, two 1937, and one 1939, one 1918-S in rough condition. All are good to maybe fine condition.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend
