Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

Nice roll

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

This time I received a 1917 and a 1918, a few in the 30's and the rest in the 40's. The quality of coins I receive from Apmex beats other online reputable sellers, and even my local coin shops. Thank you

Good selection

It was as promised. I'm more of a silver stacker than coin collector, but in one roll I got a couple older dates and one coin that was nearly BU.

Happy with the product

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I bought a roll of these walkers. "Average circulated" seems about right, so I have no complaints. 18 of 20 from the 1940s, the other 2 from 1930s. If silver prices come down significantly, I'd buy multiple rolls. rickmck

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I got 1 '35(cleaned), 2 '37s and the rest in the 40s with an AU '41 Wich was a pleasant surprise.I rated it only 4 stars because there was not much year variety. All in all I'm pleased with what I received. Thanks Apmex

Good enough to buy again

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I think the WL half dollar was the best half design made. I got a roll at this grade, but all were the ww2 years. Not much variety. There a neat piece of history, but no numismatic value. Buy this grade only for the intrinsic value and history.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design

  • Common (higher mintage)

Silver Walking Liberty Half Avg Cir

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

So-So 5 coins either no date or badly cleaned. Most all in the 40's, I 30"s and 1 barely readable 1929s. I hesitate, to try again, but, we'll see. Joe
