90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.
The U.S. Mint
The U.S. Mint has been the producer of some of the most iconic coins in U.S. history. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar series is another testament to the Mint’s craftsmanship, offering a timeless piece of American numismatic heritage. - Specifications

$100 face bag of walking liberty half dollars (200 coins) recvd 153 from 1940's (76.5%), 23 from 1930's (11.5%, 10 coins from the teens decade (5%), 11 from the 20,s (5.5%) and three coins with no visible date (slicks) (1.5%) Only one coin had damage, way below average for this kind of purchase. Found quite a few I would grade as VF to EF. Very happy with the bag, great way to build up your silver cause the $$ is toast! You will see $30 silver soon if the sun keeps coming up.

this bag of walkers hit the whole spectrum. Of the entire bag only a couple were slicks or had rim damage, many were in the fine range and a couple were AU. Most of course were pocket change quality which is what I paid for!!! Had a lot of fun going thru them. I always clean the poor examples (YES, I clean the slicks and less than goods, they look better that way).
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Was happy with the Franklins I had previously purchased. Thought I would give these a shot. Had a little more wear than expected. Counts were spot on. Will probably stick with Franklins or Kennedys in the future.
- Pros
- Easy to Sell
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Apmex is the only metals company I do business with now I tried a couple of others, but there was always some hidden costs or some downright deception. Not with Apmex, the prices are clearly displayed, the options to pay are clearly stated and I have always gotten exactly what I was expecting at the best price available on that day.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

There are a few reasons why I bought this quantity and condition of coin and I am glad APMEX carried what I was looking for. The coins are average circulation condition as described, and there were only a couple of slicks and one Franklin, and it was one coin short but that is already being remedied by APMEX. Professionally bagged and packed, and shipping was within three days! Great job on my first purchase. I will be ordering again.

- Value (low premium over spot)

- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
