I bought 30 of these and 10 of the one ounce version. As a lover of half dollar sized silver coins I prefer the 1/2 ounce size. You pay a little more but I think it is worth it. I gave one of my 30 away so I had to order 11 more! Can't have an uneven number now can we.

This is a great fractional coin. It is so easy to resell. Because of Sunshine Mint's security features, these coins are difficult to counterfeit. This makes selling them super easy. If you can find this coin on sale or with a very low premium, you should buy this coin. This is a good coin for preppers (survivalists) because it is 1/2 oz (approx. 15.5 grams) of silver. Not everything is valued at 1 oz silver. Moreover, it is a common coin; so, its silver content and weight is well know. It is a not a great coin for collectors. There are literally tons of these coins.
