this is a gorgeous 1857 2 1/2 dollar gold liberty head. Was in very good condition and packaged well. Put it into a plastic coin holder and looks great in my collection. just think, this coin could have traveled far and wide in this great country of ours. it survived a lot of history and now is in my family. highly recommend .

I purchased this just because I like gold liberty coins and I asked for a S mint coin and not only did I receive an s minted coin but I received a 1873 s which is exceptionally rare. I was very happy with my purchase and my coin could probably grade a little higher than very fine.
