For eight dollars which is probably one of the more expensive tubes on Apmex's site I sure did get a bottom of the barrel picking. The tube looked more than slightly used based on all the lacerations and probably the biggest turn off was someone wrote in permanent marker 50 on the side of the tube. I tried everything to get it off but the ink literally faded into the plastic. A tube like that shouldn't cost eight dollars.
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I requested that as I bought more 1/10 Eagles that they toss one of these in for free. They did. Good customer relations. Now to finish filling it while gold is still "on sale".
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this item for two reasions #1 this coin is a little smaller than a dime very easy to slip away (not on my watch) and #2 I'm the kind of guy that sets goals for myself (get a tube fill it up) I don't have big $ to buy one oz gold coins but I do know that this tube hold 50 coins that I can buy one at a time and once its filled I can trade it in for five 1 oz coins if I wish to do so.
- Pros
- Correct Fit
- Needfull Things
- High Quality
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
