These 1921 Morgan Dollars are of mixed mint marks of P, D or S or may all be of the same mint determined by stock on hand.
The Morgan Dollar holds a special place in U.S. coinage as it was the first coin to feature Lady Liberty with an American look, rather than the traditional Greek style. Her cap is adorned with wheat and cotton as a tribute to America's agricultural history.
The image of the eagle was also updated for the Morgan Dollar, showing a proportionally correct eagle with beautifully designed feathers. He carries an olive branch, showing America's desire for peace, and is perched atop a bundle of arrows, signifying America's readiness to defend her borders against attack.
The Morgan Dollar flooded the markets from 1878-1904. Nearly two decades after production halted, the Morgan Dollar was seen again for one year only, in 1921, due to a renewed desire for this iconic, beautiful design.

APMEX has done it Again! A Company of whom I am well pleased. My order came exactly as featured, and in a timely manner, and we'll, Homer Simpson would think of Frosty Silver Milkshakes if he saw the 1921 AU Morgan Dollar I received! 99.9% of the details were Perfect. The original luster is frosty like a BU coin. And not a bag mark on it!

I'm usually hesitant to purchase 1921 Morgan Dollars, as I feel they don't have quite the historical clout pre-21 Morgans have. However, I purchased one of these coins to diversify my Morgan Dollar stack, as all the other Morgan Dollars in my stack/collection had been minted during the 19th century. The coin arrived in pristine condition. So much so that I am hesitant to call it AU, since it had all the qualities of a BU coin. The fields were clean. The coin was blast white in color. The cartwheeling was heavily pronounced and brilliantly radiant. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this product from APMEX.
